Sonja Skvarla

Chief Executive Officer

Sonja Skvarla is our CEO at Off Road leading our team to successful outcomes for our clients. Sonja has more than 15 years experience working with founders to bring their visions to life building strategy and systems that allow growth with efficiency. She is graduate of Drake University and has a MBA in Sustainable Business. Sonja believes running a well-orchestrated company is an act of love toward the people who work in and interact with it.


Scott Fish

Chief Marketing Officer

Scott Fish is our CMO at Off Road, responsible for the business development team and managing the marketing delivery and client management team.  During the past two decades, he has worked with growing companies around the world in evolving industries such as tourism, franchises, hotels, sports associations and cultural organizations. Scott is a founding board member of SEMpdx, the largest regionally focused digital marketing organization in the US. He creates strategies to drive more business and connect better with their customers.


Michelle Gay

Director of Human Systems

Michelle Gay is our Director of Human Systems at Off Road. She works with Off Road and our clients to incorporate a company’s values into their business practices and help them create an environment that teams can thrive in.  Michelle has been repeatedly invited to lead her Values In Action workshop for organizations including Andrea Leda’s Awaken Your Practice, The Super Woman Summit, and Nike. Teaching leaders to lead people instead of manage them and build a culture that values team members with a growth mindset is what really lights Michelle up.


Eli Madrone

Director of Web Technology

Eli Madrone is our Director of Web Technology at Off Road. He works with clients to make websites come to life and loves to dig in to elegant technical solutions to business challenges.  Eli has more than 15 years of experience following his degree from Lewis and Clark College and believes in creating community through technology, and using strategy, social, humor, and design to do it.


Matt Sloane

Client Experience Manager

Matt Sloane is our Client Experience Manager – holding center for each client’s capacity-building journey. He believes that meaningful work is about authentic relationships with others. Matt brings 7+ years experience as a co-owner of Soulful Brand, a consultancy that helped visionary leaders uncover and communicate the soul of their business. After graduating from Skidmore College, he worked with clients such as Warner Brothers, Estée Lauder, Charles Schwab, and Nickelodeon, focused primarily on brand identity and marketing materials. Matt specializes in designing processes that allow for learning, setting intentions before taking actions together, and finding ways to support the people behind a brand.


Kathy Hansen

Digital Marketing Associate

Kathy Hansen is a Marketing Associate with Off Road. She has worked with a variety of businesses over the years to develop their marketing strategies and support their business growth. She has in-depth knowledge of the many aspects of digital marketing – from SEO to brand identity, to website development and data analysis. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Double Major in Advertising and Art. She has also completed coursework in computer science and is passionate about the customer experience.


Kristi Eaton

Copy Editor

Kristi Eaton our Copy Editor at Off Road. As an independent journalist and communications specialist, Kristi keeps copy fresh and clean for our clients. Her freelance work has been published by the AP, the Los Angeles Times, Marie Claire magazine, NBC News, The Guardian and other outlets. Kristi believes the written word is a great way to inform, engage and excite people to take actionable steps regarding an issue important to them.


Johnny Bolden

Executive & Team Support Lead

Johnny Bolden is our Executive and Team Support Lead at Off Road.  He supports his teammates with a variety of tasks and fills in where needed so that they may focus on more demanding projects. Johnny is currently enrolled at Portland State University studying Business & Communications and comes to Off Road with experience in video production and web development. He is very excited to be gaining hands on knowledge to the things he is studying and interacting with many of our clients through our work together.


Clara Nissim

Visual Designer

Clara Nissim is our Visual Designer at Off Road. As a cross disciplinary designer, she works with many of our clients on beautiful web and print design pieces to enhance their communications. Clara earned a Bachelor’s degree in design from Goldsmiths University of London.  Design gets her to think and approach the world in many different and sometimes unexpected ways! Finding answers to questions in a visual way helps Clara learn a little bit more every day.


Maria Caprio


Maria Caprio is our Strategist at Off Road. She works with our clients to design, implement and scale fundraising, business development and policy initiatives in both the corporate and nonprofit arenas. Previously at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Maria was responsible for all individual and institutional giving and corporate partnerships, ~$2 million annually. She enjoys creating pathways forward that allow great ideas to reach their full potential and ultimately improve our collective well-being.


Gavin Bullock

Marketing Associate

Gavin Bullock is our Marketing Associate at Off Road. With a background in SEO, Paid Search, and Digital Marketing he is earning his degree in International Business from Pacific University. Gavin believes that getting the right content in front of the right audience is a great way to get them more involved in and informed about the things that they find interesting.



Director of Office Security

Buddy Skvarla is our Director of Office Security at Off Road. While merely a few years old, he excels at keeping the team in order. He believes petting breaks and treat games are a top priority at a growing company.
